Time for another talk-fest on Climate, and delegates are due in Durban,
South Africa, for this next summit. December 2011.
Delegates are advised not to fraternise with the local population -
especially as delegates are likely to be vulnerable to cop-assisted
blackmail which can be fatal, as in the recent case in Cop Town.
It appears that no successor, or continuation, of the Kyoto accord is
likely, but that doesn't mean individual nations will not do, or are not
doing, anything to reduce their air pollution.
Duzzent mean that they will.

(Cape Town is one of the windiest cities on earth)
Odd, isn't it, how Competition Policy suddenly becomes Cooperation when
AGW is mooted, but trying to get unanimity from over 100 countries almost
dooms the result from the start.
As someone has suggested, reducing the number of nations present to, say,
the 15 worst polluters (with those most affected included, eg. Pacific
Islanders) might work. Their conclusions would be binding on all nations.
Australia could be present (Honorable Mention?) as highest *per capita*
polluter.
Phew, thank goodness, it isn't, eh?
The USA likes to lead from the rear - Al Gore notwithstanding.
Don't tell Bob that. Puhlease!
Still, we can only wish the delegates well.
The Fate of the Planet is not at risk - only fate of the species Homo
Sapiens.
(The Planet can go on, but without us.)
Yair - and since we're having 2K-per-2A and your Carbon bullshit
blabfest hosts are having ten (population doubled in last twenty years),
that means that *our* carbon production is going to go *up* and thairs
is a-gonna go down.

# And all those jet planes to take them there...and back. And taxis
burning
fuel. And tax money to pay to Africans to provide the food they need for
themselves. Plus more Aids picked up and transferred around the world.
But you forgot to mention the money ending up with African kings and
warlords. And you forgot the air conditioned car and conference luxury,
while a mile away the poor swelter and die in the slums.
Better than getting thrown out of hotel windows...
